Serve Schluckwerder marzipan & plum in Madeira after dinner when you fancy something sweet but don’t quite have room for dessert.

The dark chocolate discs are filled with fine German marzipan and a jam made from gently spiced plums soaked in Madeira wine. Pair with a glass of Madeira or other dessert wine, or simply with a strong coffee.

Schluckwerder are a German family business that specialise in marzipan and chocolate. Founded in the 1950s, they are now one of the world’s largest speciality marzipan producers.

Each box contains 10 pieces.

Ingredients: sugar, cocoa mass, ground almonds (14%), plum pulp (12%), glucose syrup, Madeira wine (4%), cocoa butter, Jamaica rum (2%), whole milk powder, thickener: pectin, emulsifier: lecithins, acid: citric acid, humectant: invertase, acidity regulator: sodium citrate, lactose, ginger, cloves, cinnamon. Minimum 50% cocoa solids. May contain hazelnuts, walnuts, pistachios, wheat, barley, soya and egg. Contain alcohol.
