Black Bee British summer honey is a golden honey, rich with floral flavours. Drizzle this runny honey over Greek yogurt for breakfast, add a little to halloumi cheese and sprinkle with spices, or pair with baked feta.
This summer honey is sourced from apiaries in Somerset, Lincolnshire and Powys. The carefully balanced blend gives each jar a wonderful mix of flavours. Honey is often measured for its antimicrobial quality referred to as TA (total activity) – the higher the TA, the greater the antimicrobial quality. The scale typically ranges from 1 – 20, and this summer honey rates 10.
As this honey is unpasteurised, it can set over time. If this is the case, gently warm it and the honey will return to its soft texture. This honey is not suitable for babies under 12 months.
About Black Bee Honey
The name Black Bee comes from the native British honey bee which was verging on extinction until dedicated reserves were created in South West England. Black Bee Honey founders Paul and Chris are passionate about supporting and celebrating British bees with their exclusively British blends.Â
Unblended and unpasteurised, each jar of honey is stamped with the beekeeper’s name and the apiary it comes from.Â
Storage: Store at room temperature.
